Mimetic marble/marble rhyolite Masterbatch
Introduction of mimetic marble/marble masterbatch in Korean chemical Ind. The mimetic marble/marble rhyolite masterbatch is also called mimetic marble, mimetic marble, rhyolite, marble and wood. Introduction of mimetic marble/marble masterbatch in Korean chemical Ind.


The mimetic marble/marble rhyolite masterbatch is also called mimetic marble, mimetic marble, rhyolite, marble and wood.


The principle is that two kinds of insoluble resins are extruded together. Because of the difference of melting point and viscosity, they cause uneven dispersion and produce stripes, which imitate marble pattern. The use of this color masterbatch can make plastic products similar to marble's beautiful decorative effect. The color and its effect can be prepared according to the customer's requirements, which can make the products present various mimetic dolomite effects; therefore, it is widely used in daily plastic products, water dispenser shells, blinds, toys, handicrafts, cultural supplies, decorative supplies, jewelry, necklaces and other fields.


2. Materials are classified into hard rubber and soft rubber grades.


Hard rubber grade is suitable for:


Generally, A and MA are used for hard materials under 190 C processing conditions, such as GPPS, HIPS, BS (K glue), etc.


High temperature B and MB type are suitable for hard rubber materials with processing conditions above 200 C and below 240 C, such as ABS, AS (SAN), PMMA (Acrylic), etc.


Soft rubber grade is suitable for soft plastics such as PP, HDPE, etc.


General P and P M models are suitable for processing conditions below 210 C.


The high temperature E and ME models are suitable for processing at 220 ~250 C.


Addition ratio: transparency effect 0.5-1%, translucency effect 1-1.5%, opacity effect 2-4%.


3. Characteristics of marble rhyolite masterbatch products:


1. Using highly compatible materials, natural irregular stripes are produced by utilizing different melting points and flow rates between masterbatch and raw material.


2. Different color masterbatches can be used according to the need to produce more brilliant color effects.


3. This series of rheological masterbatches can be divided into two categories: hard glue and soft glue.


Hard glue: such as ABS, CPPS, SAN, etc., processing temperature below 230 degrees


Soft rubber: such as PP, HDPE, PE, etc., processing temperature below 200 degrees


Processing dosage: transparent effect: 0.5% - 1.5%: translucent: 1.5% - 2%: opaque effect: 2% - 4%.


4. Processing instructions for mica/marble rhyolite masterbatches in Korean chemical industry:


The operating conditions are adjusted according to the results of injection moulding.


If the ripple effect is not obvious and the masterbatch is granular, the processing temperature and back pressure can be increased and the nozzle temperature can be increased appropriately.


On the contrary, if the ripple effect is too young, too dense, processing temperature can be reduced appropriately, and the back pressure can be reduced.


This series of rheological masterbatches can be dried under special processing conditions. The size of the gum entry point will be between 90 and 100 degrees Celsius during drying.


Affect the effect of stripes (thickness), so the filling point should not be too small.
